Do not use (contraindications)

Petspemf devices should not be used on animals that are:

  • Pregnant
  • Diagnosed with epilepsy or a seizure history
  • Actively bleeding
  • Fitted with implanted metals
  • Fitted with a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device

Additionally, do not use the device on animals in motion during the first two months of regular use, and keep any broken or malfunctioning device away from animals.

Adverse reactions

Petspemf devices generate low- to medium-intensity electromagnetic fields, similar in strength to the Earth's natural energy. Any reactions typically diminish with continued use. If your pet experiences an uncomfortable reaction, you can reduce the treatment duration, lower the intensity, or limit the area of the body exposed to the device.

  • Pets should be lying down and at rest during device use.
  • For pets with pacemakers or implants, keep the device at least 30 cm (12 in) away when it is turned on.
